The Westwind was one of Erik Buell's early road bikes, built around a stock Harley-Davidson 1200 cc engine in a light steel chassis with his vibration-isolating engine mounting. It has a half fairing, Marzocchi fork and a horizontally mounted rear shock, and was aimed at fast, twisty-road riding. It came just before Harley-Davidson took a stake in the company in 1993.
